MAT 80 SPDG: Bauxite based conventional gunning material for applications in Power Plants as well as Iron, Cement, Aluminium, Fe-Ni Industries etc.

The material should be stored in dry and cool warehouse. Pallet stacking is admissible and the max loaded pallets must not exceed 3 pallets. “First in – First out” management of stored bricks is advisable. The material has to be stored above freezing temperature. Due to high humidity and strong radiation in tropical countries, storage in a dry, covered place is recommended.

Installation Temperatures: MAT 80 SPDG should be applied from 5OC up to 30OC. If the temperatures are out of these limits, please contact our Technical Service Department.

The compressed air pressure and the added water must be carefully adjusted. Only potable water must be used. The rebounded material can’t be resued. Specific installation instructions from the Designer of any project must be followed.

MAT 80 SPDG segments must be dried before starting pre-heat. Preheating schedule of the material has to be compatible with the overall preheating diagram of the whole kiln. The preheating diagrams are available on request from our Technical Service Department.

Shelf life: 12 months under proper storage conditions. If the shelf life of the material has been exceeded, please contact our Technical Service Departement.

The final User must follow carefully all the instructions of Designer of the specific project.
